I friggin’ love Joe Diffie. He played in my small hometown’s annual summer days deal two different times. The rumor going around the second time was that there was a dispute between the other two acts for the night as to who would go on last, whereas Joe was perfectly fine opening up the show-no ego, just a good country dude.

I got an 8 foot bed that never has to be made.

Billy was a county fan and I remember hearing this song a few times through the years while riding up north… in his pick up truck. Yep, there’s nothing better to make a gal swoon than hopping into a pick up truck (well, except maybe a nice beard)! Some men might look fancy driving around in a luxury sports car, but you can’t haul a boat or random other crap with a sports car. Guys with trucks are the best. 😁
