I Made a Scene While Voting….

When you put this line in (I watched as this 126 year old women instructed him to fill out his ballot) you immediately lost credibility with me. Everything else you say is suspect. you proudly titled your post (I made a scene while voting)
What followed was a description of how you chose to be disruptive. That kind of action at a polling place may easily discourage some people from staying in line and voting.
You saw what you saw and you were concerned enough to return and report that issue. Nothing wrong with that though I question from what you report that there was any intent to influence votes there is not real way for us to know. When you report your concerns you can ask that this dedicated poll worker modify her instructions in a way that alleviates your concerns. I suspect the poll worker would comply. Mission accomplished.
What you chose to do was to act like a toddler throwing a tantrum. That’s at the least distasteful for people and can be scary and intimidating. That does put you as the center of attention for a bit and it may make you feel like a real patriot. The reality it way different than that. I hope you can look back on that and next time stand up for what you believe in a way that shows some respect for the people around you.

It wasn’t until the front desk lady went over to her and told her to stop what she was doing, and then the old lady had the balls to look at me and publicly lie right to my face….

That’s when I called bullshit publicly. It wasn’t a tantrum.

Should I have have just shook my head? Maybe… But there’s only one thing I hate more than thieves, and that’s liars.

Sorry I may have touched a nerve or that you feel I overreacted. She put herself in that situation and I called her out on it. It’s water under the bridge, and I have no regrets for my actions (but I hope she does).

I will however apologize for saying she was 126 years old. A man should never guess a women’s age, and if he does he should always underestimate instead of overestimate.

That said, she was a spry 103 years old

I can see where norge tossed your credibility. For me if you’d have done what you did, went home and never mentioned it again I’d probably agree with you. But to post it here…. what kind of validation were you looking for? Can you do something, anything, without having to post it in a public forum hoping every tom, dick, and harry is going to give you warm fuzzies?

There was a time when I thought you gave credible information about fishing one of the Great Lakes and also thought you were a stand-up father type but after this less than worthy post, no thanks.

So Jimmy Jones, in the same token why not drop it instead of keep arguing about it.
