    Even if he won his club tourny, he still lost. Kind of like the so called hunter that straps a bloody deer to the roof of his car and sits in a bar for the rest of the week. Doesn’t represent our sport very well.

    Really hope the preceeding posts on the other thread really sticks with you. I’m sure they reflect the hundred others that didn’t post, but were thinking the same thing

    My comment was a carry over joke from the previous thread. It either wasn’t funny or people were too heated to get it….probably both. doah

    I hope he truly has learned. Life is about learning and becoming a better person.

    I think the only thing you learned was to be careful what you post. Your actions will be the real determining factor if you learned anything.

    I’m a little boat guy and I have no problem with people going by on plane as long as they give you some space. If your close enough to see dirty looks that’s why your getting dirty looks.

    its why I’m glad we don’t have as many tournaments on 15 and 16. 14 is certainly the better pool in our area but its constantly got tournaments going on and weather you are out relaxing or just trying to fish, it seems many tourney anglers think they run the joint because there is money on the line. days before they are running up on you marking spots, during the tournament they buzz right by you, get right up in your grill on spots, get all indignant about you just minding your own business and being in their way.

    whats funny is they are trying to win 250 bucks….in the years I’ve watched the FLW/NWT guys down here they are always courteous to the shore fisherman and any other people on the water….even though there are much bigger purses on the line. its always the local yokles seemingly that give tourney anglers a bad name.

    Yep. Brush it off. You’ll figure it out over time and if your like the rest of us you’ll continue to remind yourself from time to time that we still make mistakes. mrgreen

    I wouldn’t doubt that attitude wasn’t passed along from other fishermen. Don’t let their poor attitude rub off on you. Spend more time on IDO and you’ll pickup some better habits.

    Life is all about learning from your experiences and growing up. I for one am glad that when I was 19 and still learning important life lessons, technology wasn’t what it is now. Many of the poor decisions we made back then weren’t recorded or captured forever on the internet. We should consider ourselves lucky! whistling
