they’re usually at the bar.

Cool… Hard to tell for sure if there is a tail that’s hidden by the hind leg, but just looking at the stance of the cat I’d put my $$ on a large Bobcat.

Scale is hard to determine without knowing distances/heights of various objects.

I’m with will, the shape says more bobcat than cougar. Not that I’m saying it couldn’t be a cougar, all of MN is cougar range now, so Brainerd certainly could have them.

My first glance gut reaction was bob. My second look close reaction is definitely bob.

Maybe its my monitor, but I can clearly see where the tail ends (with a thin line of white around it)

I have a “bobcat in heat” call in my boat.

Don’t ask.

The stripes on the inside of the leg lead me to believe bobcat. But otherwise, the profile matches up well to a big cat.
