I picked up a new 1875 impact this past fall and can’t imagine fishing without it now. Big reason I didn’t get the 1775 is I didn’t want to have to settle for 115hp motor. I LOVE the 150 HP. I would say if you found a great deal on a 1875 already set up its a no brainer! Just my 2 cents

Sounds good I was thinking the same thing just curious what kind of speed do you get with 2 guys with gear and did you prop the boat or leave it stock

I still have the stock prop on as of now. With 2 guys and full gear I have seen 49 mph on GPS. The most impressive thing to me is not how fast it goes but how fast it gets there. Even from 1/2 throttle to full you will be pinned to your seat. All in all the boat fishes great. Tons of room and even more storage. I opted to get the rear flip up seats and under council storage. And if you are wondering the new pro air ride seats are worth there weight in gold!

I have an Explorer 1825 2010 model which is the predecessor to the Impact.
The boat does everything I want it to do.
    Best gps speed was 47+.

I’ve been looking for the last two months for a possible replacement, and there isn’t one….for under $40k.

    I’m keeping it.

I was in similar spot 2 years ago, and looking at the 17′ and 18′ impact but am a bit tight on garage space and ended up going with a 1775 Pro V and the 150 4 stroke Merc. I think the 1875 would have fit in my garage, but been very tight, the 1775 gives me a bit of breathing room and I am very happy with my choice as the 1775 Por V IFS was about the same price as a 1875 Impact Sport, bothh having the 150 4 stroke and similar other optiopns. I am able st squeek out 50 mph also with a luminum prop and light load and less as weight and conditions get worse, but think I am hapier with the storage layout of the Pro V.

So whatever you choose, enjoy, but jsut wanted to thow out an option to think about.
