I have issues….anyone else played this game

    So I’m already ready for the ice and to appease my addiction I found a little game in Play Store entitled “Ice Fishing Derby.” It is quite the time killer and surprisingly fun and sorta kinda realistic.

    Idk maybe I’m just weird but I enjoy it, and when you can pull walleyes and perch through an 8in hole in August I’ll take it even if it is only a game.

    Ice Fishing Derby is great. I’ll play it when I am at the airport, in the bathroom, at the park…but never, NEVER, at church. doah

    I really wish I had never seen this thread.

    My first game I died, and the second I ended up with $1207 to finish the tournament. Not too shabby! I caught a tagged 24″ walleye worth around $197 if I remember correctly. Ha!

    Downloaded it yesterday…. there goes my productivity. This game is totally unrealistic. In the store it says ” You already have anything you could possibly want”

    Like that is true.

    So I told my husband Billy about this game… yeeeeaah he’s been playing it non-stop. He’s even died already and I just heard him shout from the other room something about a 7″ sunfish I think. What have I done?? roll

    Wow… what a game! That is addicting. Died early on the first time around but once I learned a bit I finished day 5 alive with $7,206 for my next game!

    Agreed. In the free game you start out with what $21. The first few times I was using live minnows going after the bigger prize, but since I had the dang spud bar every fish “wouldn’t fit through the hole”. Lesson learned there. IDK how you could reach $25K on this version since you cannot even get many of the pike in because they break the 6# line on the walleye winder.
    I just bought some “magic bait”. It catches EVERYTHING!. IDK how many I have but I paid $20 for it. LOL
    Gotta love the “fish – o – peeker” for half the bait. LOL

    Yup first gotta start out going for perch they pay more than crappie and gills. I had enough and went with the premium, high is 205,000 guy traded me twice for all my fish for double my money.

    I had all 3 of my boys playing it at the same time last night. At first they looked at the graphics and said “this looks really dumb”! Well, after playing it for 20 minutes they didn’t want to stop. LOL

    I don’t know what it is about it, maybe it’s the ability to ice fish without the cold, or maybe it’s the “money” for fish, but something about this little game has me and it seems like alot of others hooked

    Very addicting. Ended up with $15,375.39 one game after trading for the camera,12lb line reel combo and the 12inch auger. Had trade the camera to get the 12lb line/reel combo rod but the next day I bought the sonar then traded half my catch to get the camera back. Ounce you get those three the big fish just role in.

    When you unlock store items, are they then unlocked forever? Or is it just for the 5 day fishing tournament?
