This was caught at 5pm today by my bud. A 24 1/2″ fatty on a white jigging rapula. Not shown a 17inch wally caught 10 min later. Most times we go out a short bite period from 5pm to 5:30 pm

Sure would be nice to have a nice private shorline spot where there are fish out there. I wonder how the guys fishing south of 94 are doing? Saw one had a quad out there last Friday.

I have a feeling the bite for walleye is going to pick up. Hopefully this window of opportunity expands. Be out there again this weekend if not earlier, just a short ride on the 6×4 gator from the yard to our spot.

How deep are you guys fishing?? I will second the bite window. about 40 minutes of fish rushing through and they are done. We got a few on Saturday in 28 FOW. Jigging raps and plain hook on a dead stick.
They bite usually gets better and better now up to close date.

21 to 25 ft for me on a ridge from a 20ft flat leading to 35 40 ft deep. Tried early 6 am to 9am yesterday got a lot of lookers from set yup to about 8 but no bites. Sneaky suspicion those might be sheepies.
went back at 4pm to 6pm. Could not mark one fish the whole time. Even went deeper to punching around the top of the shelf notta. That front coming through in the morning must have messed things up prety bad.
Today is looking prety darn good out there heading out later to hit that window.

Good luck if you get out. I was hoping to go again this afternoon also but not sure yet. time will tell.
I fish a similar area. It seems that they really want to relate to the break and not crawl very far up on the flat where I fish.
