I got a $925 ticket for peeing on the ice

Something I’ve been stewing about since Saturday…

I stepped outside and was in the middle of taking a leak when a snowmobile pulled up from behind the shack.

I heard him coming and zipped up as fast as I could but he still saw me in the act.

We had a conversation about pollution and how everyone needs to haul their pee home. Thought I was going to get a warning…

A minute later he hands me a ticket for $925 FRICKEN DOLLARS!!!!

COULDN’T BELIEVE IT

He said I could fight it in court and likely have it lowered since it was my first offense.

Before he left I asked him just why in the hell was it so expensive????

He said it’s pretty simple…

But be careful – you CAN actually get a ticket for public urination. In most states it’s usually charged as disorderly conduct or creating a public nuisance and can come with a fine of up to $1000, community service, or even jail time of up to 90 days. And the charge is worse if you happen to get caught doing this in the presence of a minor.

I knew a guy that got a ticket for “peeing in the street” of a small North Dakota town we duck hunt around. I have actually seen tumble weeds rolling down that street a few times. The funny thing is the cop spelled “peeing” “peaing”.
