    I enjoy the excitement of seeing a flag go up on a tipup but not a fan of bringing in the fish hand over hand. This is the perfect solution. It’s much more fun playing a big pike on a rod and reel.

    biggill, I assume you’ve used one for Lakers? How severe are the issues in very cold weather?
