Is it worth putting hyfax on your sled if your not using a wheeler or sled to pull it around the lake?

over time even snow and ice will wear away at the black plastic. It’s the weight in the sled and the abrasion caused by what it is running over that causes wear not how it’s being towed.

If I was not pulling it with a atv or sled, I wouldn’t waist the money.

I have them on my shack and love them… pulls so easy on snow and ice and is nice to be able to pull it short distances across gravel/concrete.

I have an old clam, think its a “Fish Trap II” that must be 25 years old. It’s from a time Long before Hyfax. It has to have a couple thousand miles on it across anything & everything and there is just now starting to wear through slightly. Maybe the plastic was better back then, don’t really know. Several poles have been replaced and the tent many times, but the sled is good.

Not sure if the hyfax make it easier to pull, that would be the only reason for me to buy them.
