I lived in Tampa for 6 years and have done my share of boarding up, and all I can say is that hurricanes are always extremely hyped up by the media. Thoughts with those who experienced a bad storm.

We made it. Lost power. Limbs down in the neighborhood. I got maybe 2 hours sleep last night. I wish we had power, I don’t know how the test of the state faired. I imagine it isn’t good based on what we got.

Glad you’re save, Pug. As long as you avoid the flooding, that’s the one that really is tragic to me is all that flooding destroys everything. Game over for most of those houses that had water in the first floor, what a mess.

Glad to hear you’re okay, Pug.

I heard from my cousin from Ft. Myers today. They evacuated and are staying away for a bit, but she said other than losing a few trees and their screened pool enclosure, their house looks relatively unscathed.

Glad to hear it! There are lots of people without power. Can you imagine going weeks without power? We really literally lucked out with this house. That being said we need to buy and stop leasing.
