Lucky Buck Mineral

    I switched to Lucky Buck this spring and the results are impressive. This mineral smells like strawberry jello and I can smell it 10 feet away from the mineral site. I have already had to replenish it 4 times since April as they are absolutely tearing it up. Deer have been digging 6″ holes to get at it once the top layer has been licked up, already the lick site is 3″ lower than it was before I started with this stuff.

    Darrin, where did you get that stuff and how much was it for what size bag?

    Given that most “deer mineral” is 99% salt, it kills me to pay $20+ for 20-25 pounds of the stuff, but I’m having trouble finding better options any cheaper.

    FG, it is a 20lb pail for $20, very high in calcium, got it at Scheels, Gander also has it.
