She’s letting me buy a gun that will sit on the shelf for ever. Never to be shot, loaded, nothing. She really doesn’t get it, but knew I really wanted it. I’ve always wanted a Henry Rifle to display and I could not think of a better one to buy. It will be a hand me down for my son – my grandkids and hopefully many more generations down the road.
Why not display it AND shoot it? Wouldn’t that be twice the fun?

I guess I’m looking at it as an long term investment piece more than a fun shooting rifle. I’m getting it for a few hundred under retail and these guns should only go up in value. Besides that, find you me some 22 ammo…..
