Need one snow shoe

I was out with the dog today on a long walk throuh the deep snow scouting for shed hunting spots. We got about as far away from home as I wanted to go at about the 2 hour mark. I had just started back for home and my yellow labs was exhausted from plowing through all that snow so she decided to follow me. Just as I was lifting my left foot she jumped forward and landed on my snowshoe. Between me lifting and her coming down the shoe broke I made the long treck back with one snowshoe and a walking stick to keep the other foot from sinking too much. We made it but were both shot. I would like to replace the snowshoe, just one. I love these shoes but they are about 25 years old. The name on them is Safesport MFG and the model is northwoods. Anyone know where I can buy just one?

not sure where you can get just one but check ebay I did a search and found some there to see what they looked like.

I’d say check around your area for places that maybe rent them out. Couple things, 1) they might have a crippled set and maybe you can score that way, 2) they might do repairs…you think yours are repairable? Worth a shot….
