Dipsy divers and straight line trolling, you can only have 1 line per man up there so I like to get the bait away from the boat by adjusting the dipsy 1 left, 1 right and throw a straight line deep diver off the back if we have a third guy with us. J plugs have been very good to us recently but Nipigon is a very good spoon lake also, I have wanted to vertical jig them but we always did good trolling plus its a nice diversion for us from casting our arms off for pike and handling alot of pike. For the most part once we are set up its sit back and wait for the action, maybe changing lures if something is hot, we take turns per fish no matter who’s rod because alot of times it can be that one magic lure. Nipigon has its own special regs- like it is completely barbless and the walleye does not open until the second weekend in June so depending on when we go walleye might not even be part of our itinerary, also Nipigon is a world class brook trout fishery.

    Thanks for all the info.

Who do you stay with in that area?

Anyone else here use ScoutLook I am not able to get logged in. About a month or so ago I got an email from them saying they had been hacked but a few days later they were up and running again, now today I can not get logged in. Anyone else here having issues with ScoutLook? I depend on the info I get there quite a bit, I love the scent cone maps and all the other useful weather info I get there. Anyone else use any other sites similar to ScoutLook that you would recommend?

Just back from the woods and it is back up and running form me now. I do not have a smart phone but I check it out the night before a hunt and then again before I head out for each hunt, it is a very helpful tool that I have come to depend on, hope the issues are all cleared up now. I grunted in an 8 pointer tonight at last light but he never came in close enough for me to get a good look at him. Things are just starting to heating up here in my neck of the woods might have to do an all day sit here soon!

If anyone knows of any other sites similar to ScoutLook I would like to check them out, never hurts to have back ups in case ScoutLook goes down again.

My account has been working well all season. I love this app. We are going to start sharing a login on our hunting lease in BC but am now wondering what happens when more than one user tries to login at the same time?

I use Scoutlook for deer , fishing, and ducks. It did act up on me last Thursday about mid-day, then an hour later was up again. I was duck hunting in changing winds and had to constantly change my deeks around Like most, I love it for deer hunting, as to which stand to go to based on winds…love the feature where you can advance the time and watch the wind movement.
Really, if there is another app out there, I too would like to know….

I doubt any of these apps were developed in the “ghetto” Kooty
