With all the talk about the Rut starting to kick off I was thinking about slipping into several of our stand locations next weekend and creating a mock scrap and hanging a scent dripper over them. Does anyone here use them? If so what brand of scent do you use in them. I was thinking about going with the golden active scrape and add a little evercalm stick on the licking branch overhead. If I understand correct I should be able to get a weeks worth of drip from one full fill on the dripper.

I just did that exact set up behind the house yesterday. Will check the cam in a few days and let ya know how it works. I have got pictures of 4 different bucks in the last week so bucks are on the move. One also attacked the Glen Dale buck by my house 2 nights ago. Should put a cam on that also.

This is all new to me…… I just bought a dripper kit with the dripper and 4 ounces of scent by wildlife research centers…… The scent is whatever the popular dripper kit come with…can’t recall right now.

How long before rifle season should a guy put it out?
