Getting a bit frustrated at getting woke up at 5:30am the last 5 mornings. We have had 2 gobblers fly down and mosey 20 to 50 yards past our bedroom windows every morning. These guys were no where to be found nor did I hear them gobbling during the Turkey season. This is the latest I have ever heard them gobbling.

Any of you still seeing them in full strut and gobbling?

It’s been pretty hard for me to spot them from the road with the vegetation lately. I haven’t been in the woods in far too long so I can’t tell you. I though they gobbled all year long to some extent.

I have heard them gobbling throughout the year but associated it with shock gobbling, really notice it when they are roosted and it is thundering. These birds are in full strut every morning and gobbling 3 to 4 times a minute.

They are guys, they don’t care what time of year it is, they want a girl friend

I hear them gobble all year, but not near as much as in spring. I agree a lot of those are shock gobbles, but not all.
