This week they draw for the elk tags in Montana. I have been checking the online system every hour, sometimes twice an hour. 
I’m curious, am I the only one who goes bonkers the week of the drawings or is this natural for everyone?
By the way, I drew my tag!! Now I just have to wait to see if I drew the unit. 
Way to go! I put in for a Wyoming point. I’m still going Colorado OTC this year. Been running and lifting almost every day! 
What makes me bonkers is the idea of having to figure out the whole tag system for a given species/state/etc/etc/etc.
Honestly, the time investment in figuring out the system is part of the reason why I have almost no interest in hunting certain species. Even the idea of starting to figure out the regs enough to know what’s feasable is a bridge too far for me.
Glad you got at least part of the deal done. Good luck with the rest, hope it works out the way you want it.

Well, sad news for me. No go this year. But I got bonus points for next.
No doubt understanding other state regs is a challenge. It took me a while to decipher Montana.
