    Cast iron lasts a lot longer than one with a steel firebox. And will be more expensive. If you are looking at one with forced air one model may have more diverters to heat the air that is forced through it. Copper does something to radiate heat better or store it better.

    Wood warms you 5 times better when compared to other types of heat…
    It warms you when you cut, split, haul, stack AND burn!
    LP or natural gas only warms you when it heats.
