I’ve tried a couple of topo apps, not just hunting-specific. So far none has been very satisfying.
I was wondering about the Cabelas app. There is no free/trial verison, so wanted to hear some feedback first.
My biggest complaint is that apps so far have been:
a. Fussy to operate. I want to app to stay zoomed to the level I set it at and not to have to mess with it a lot. I just want to see my position on screen with maybe my back-trail.
b. Good underlying maps. The maps of my areas look to be old 1970s USGS topos and they are hard to read and the resolution isn’t that good.
Is the Cabelas app better?
