Thanks for posting this Kooty. Everybody needs to email or call their representatives. I was down at the Capitol for the morning and evening sessions last Thursday. It is unbelievable what these uninformed people are trying to do. Rep Hausman from St Paul authored HB 241 & 242. She wasn’t even there when they were presented. I read somewhere that she said she doesn’t know anything about guns. They had a lobbyist present their side. Some guy from Duluth presented a bill similar to the permit to purchase, except it is for bullet proof vests and body armor. He stated that the killers in CT and CO were both wearing bullet proof vests when they went on their rampage. Thankfully somebody that actually knew the facts, corrected him, telling everybody that they were actually wearing fishing vests or photography vests with lots of pockets so they could carry more ammo and clips. I could go on for a while. Please, please call your reps or at least send them an email saying you oppose these bills.
