Santa sure surprised “The Men” this morning…as there was a pair of youth model 870 Express shotguns lying beneath the tree when they awoke. Look out grouse, pheasants, ducks and clays!

Oh, and the bearded man didn’t forget the pooch.

Awesome!! My dad had 3 870s for my brothers and me lying under the tree just about 40 years ago. Still my favorite shotgun. Great pic, they’ll treasure them forever

Too Cool! Couldn’t help but giggle at the readiness of the younger lad….. finger on the trigger already!!! Just in case the pooch flushes a bird from the Christmas tree!

My dad never gave me any of my guns. I had to buy them from him through a payment agreement. His thought was that I’d take better care of something I was personally vested in….. and he was right….. for me. I’ve seen others baby the heck out of their gifts so I think both schools of thought are good. Anyway, I made my first kill with his Winchester 1200 12ga. so of course, guess what I bought and still own today??? Amazing how the memories are often attached!

My granddad passed on his hunting rifle to me, just months before he passed away……. Talk about memories and guns! That one is EXTRA special!

I’m excited for all the memories you’re all going to create with each other! Good hunting!
