Impressive for 5 fish, but four fish… Wow. Thats what the miss is known for.

Those are the standings. I am suprised by the wieghts. Having a 7 pound lead is not to shabby for the start of a tourney.

Congrats to Bruce! I don’t know him personally but I met him a few years back at Devils Lake. We were both leaving the casino boat slips and he looks over and sees me with dad and brother in the boat and says, Hey, you guys want to catch some walleye?

Well of course! So we followed him to a spot about 5 miles away and we caught alot of fish. Never got to really talk to him or thank him but great guy! Good to see him do well here.

Way to go guys. Those where some nice fish. Watching the weigh ins on the live leader board was great. almost like being there.
From what I have been finding on the wingdams of pool 2 is the the bigger fish dont seem to eat every day and not always on the same wingdam. It will be interesting to see if the guys on top will be able to put together those weights for 3 days straight. On the other hand calm winds today should make fishing wingdams a lot easier than yesterday.
Anyone catch what baits these guys are using on the dams?

Merry Christmas folks, I hope that everyone here that reads this has an opportunity to have a warm house and a friend to share the day with. So many times we take for granted how lucky we are. We get down on life and our selves without realizing how lucky we are to live in this country and have opportunities that some only dream of.

I hope we all continue to help others who are strangers and seem to not fit in, to not shun away others because they are not part of a click or group but only to encourage and welcome questions that with the knowledge of the folks here can only increase the meaning and value of IDO

    Take Care
And again I wish everyone a Merry Christmas
