Rust Spots on Barrell

    The heavy rain of this past weekend got stuff wet and I have some rust spots on the barrell of my rifle. Any suggestions on how to deal with it? Thanks.

    If its just surface rust,wipe it down with rem oil. If its been sitting fr a while you might have to blue it again.

    I agree rem oil and a rag should work, shouldn’t be an issue unless it’s a longer issue and it has started to pit the barrel

    Very fine steel wool #(ooo) and light oil or penetrating oil.And like already said depending on severity you may want to cover any bare steel with casey’s permablue liquid bluing.
