    This was a hoax by the radio station to get free publicity.

    I never heard if this was ever comfirmed to be a hoax. I’ve seen the “letter to the editor” clips before, but I haven’t heard the radio station confirm it wasn’t real. It sure sounds real and I know of a few people that would probably agree with her.
