Storing venison jerky???

    Wacked a doe on Sunday, and am making venison jerky as we speak for my Wyoming trip. I will be gone Oct 12-21, and am wondering if I should store it in the fridge or freezer until we leave. Jerky has never lasted more than 3 days at my house so this is a new problem. Thanks,

    I always freeze my jerky in 1 lb quantities and pull out a bag as needed. Like your house, it lasts a few hours at best. My kids love the stuff.

    X2 I vaccum seal mine in 1-2# bags and freeze them up
