I forgot to bring this up. I have been hunting in tick central the last two weekends. NW Wis and NC Mn. I have not seen one single tick. Nothing. Notta. Places that were always bad before and I thought forever. Anyone else noticing the same thing?
Not a single tick on me two weekends ago hunting east of Mille Lacs. I gotta believe this dry weather has helped a ton.
I’ve only been out once, but no ticks!
My brother in law found a single deer tick on him after 5 hours in the brush last weekend. Other than that, I have not seen one in well over a month 
Same with our camp. Usually when we cut lanes is when we pick up a bunch…not this year anyway
Just don’t let your guard down. It only takes one of them to screw up things real good for ya. I been there, done that, and don’t want a repeat!
Ticks started back up the middle of last week. They need to have a good frost to get them started. Used equisect on the dog since two weeks ago and am still finding a few. It will get progressively worse as the season wears on.
