I am hunting in a MN Lottery deer area. Say I shoot and tag a doe during the archery season with my archery tag. I cannot tag another deer in that area unless party hunting. Bow-Rifle-Muzzleloader. That’s clear. But say I am archery hunting later in a intensive deer area, the way I understand it, there is no way for me to tag a buck because I already used my main archery tag. They wonder why people quit hunting

You should try being an “outsider” figuring out these rules. I’m completely confused.

You cannot tag another deer period in that area. You can party hunt but someone else would have to tag a deer if you shot it. Correct, on not being able to shoot a buck later on in a intensive area, for you to be hunting there you would have to use a bonus tag. Thats the gamble you take if you want to shoot a doe early on. My advice would be to bow hunt an intensive area early if you want meat, if one is close to you and save your buck tag for later on.
