August sucks!

    Always seems to go by so slow!

    But for me everyday is prep day for the upcoming season. Today I’m checking out a few food plots, pulling cards on 7 cameras that have been soaking for two weeks. Later tonight putting together tree stands. Tomorrow hanging a couple sets, shooting the heli-m, and glassin fields. What’s everyone else doing to pass the time?

    Geez John…..that does sound awful! Pretty much the same things you are doing. Going to start building a tower stand for my Dad tonight

    I am still busy enjoying summer. Fishing and quading every weekend. Hitting Chequamegon this weekend with good friend and fellow IDO’er. But I know what you mean. I made my first Grouse hunt reservation for Sept today.

    Oh and tomatoes just started so that’s pretty big around my house!!!!

    I would agree August is a slow month but luckly we can hunt antelope here for the 2nd half of the month. That helps pass the time until the elk rut hits in Sept

    I kinda like August. My hunting season starts in 2 weeks!
