Kaden continues to battle and beat cancers azz.

On this fourth and final round of chemo I am happy to say that there is nothing new to report…Kaden is doing great…being Kaden! He has two more days of treatment so we won’t be heading home until Saturday. Hope the weather will be nice this weekend so that we can go boating!

Once again our friends have been taking good care of us inside and outside the hospital. Tj is being taken care of by the Hines-Murphy clan this week. Mike and Mary Jo helped out one last time on Monday as well. Our stomachs are more than being taken care of too!! Thank you Judy and Dave Young for the tator tot hot dish that I was craving! And of course the strawberries which Kaden almost single-handedly ate! Another big thanks to Lisa and Julie from County Public works for the Godfather’s pizza. Believe it or not, Kaden ate 3 pieces!!! Lisa’s 8-year old son, Jonathan, also whipped up a bucket of toys and a bear with a pirate hat for Kaden. Thanks Jonathan!! And lastly, thank you to Sandy and Alexis Aaby for dropping off MORE cookies! One would think we wouldn’t know what to do with all of these cookies but they seem to magically disappear when Rylee and Carley visit…hmmmm

Actually, I guess I do have something new to share. We thought that radiation was going to be the next step in treatment but apparently lung surgery is going to come first. After he recovers from that then he will start radiation. Of course this could all change but for now that’s the plan. This very well could be Kaden’s last chemo treatment which means….his hair will grow back AND more importantly his bone is going to heal!!! We are so looking forward to Kaden getting his first movable prosthesis…it’s been a long time coming. Your continued prayers will play a huge part in Kaden’s full healing.
