Driving north on highway 61 in WBL. One car stopped coming south bound because a family of woodducks are crossing the road and a numbn*t goes by the car stoped and just about takes out mom and kills one the the ducklings!! 
Is it just me but come on just stop for 20 seconds. I just wanted to stop and punch the guy in the face . Ok now I feel better
I understand your feelings! I dont know exactly how it all went down but if it was on a busy road with a lot of traffic at the time in an area that a stop is unexpected. Slowing down to much or stopping could be putting peoples lives at risk. in this circumstance I say hit the ducks and keep going, on the other hand in different circumstances where stopping wouldnt be risking the lives of others then by all means let the little guys cross the road..
On Saturday AM, it was pouring pretty good up north. Todders and I were headed over to Bob Bergeson’s cabin, we spotted a dark spot on the side of the road. As we got closer, I noticed movement. It was a hen turkey. As she stood up off the road, she had 12+ young pults under her. I couldn’t get a camera out in time to snap a photo before they got in the tall grass.
Lots of baby critters around this time of year.
Some people just dont care. Or maybe they didnt realize what they did because they werent paying attention or are horifically selfish. I stopped to move a turtle out of the road this weekend. I do that every year.
some people are in to much of a hurry to appreciate the little things in life.
