New to me scam

    Got a text a few minutes ago claiming I want a $1000.00 best buy gift card. Funny, I never entered any contests. Always new scams to watch out for. I worry about people like my parents.

    I don’t worry about my parents getting taken advantage of from that sort of scam because for one neither of them would know how to open a text message and second they wouldn’t know how to reply if they did get it open.

    Roger is big time now. He gets all his orders via text. He even gets a few one or two word texts sent to me occasionally. Of course this is the same guy that if I move the icon from one side of the screen to the other he freaks out claiming the PC is broke. I only do that once or twice a year.
