i have built 2 deer shacks this year and i most say that i am getting good at it and enjoy doing. if i wanted to make some to sell what do you think people might pay for them. my curret one i built was a 6×6 and with all materials it eneded up costing me about 700$. that is with windows, all wood shingles, and a home made door, all stained, insulated every where floor walls roof, and carpet to quite the floor down. The only thing that i have not added would be the time it took me to make it. so what would you guys pay or think a fair price would be if you were looking for one.

There is a local guy here that sells something close to what you described. I think he charges in the $1000 to $1200 range. I think he charges for delivery too. I would like to see pictures too.

I think if you get over a $1k they will be tougher to move. I’ll try to find my pics of the one we are getting with some slight modifications. Todders hooked me up with his guy in Mora.

Let’s see some pics. I don’t know that insulation is needed for the most part. We didn’t insulate the one we built and it was awesome for bow hunting. Come rifle season, I could see having the extra warmth. For me, I just like being out of the wind.

Yep, out of the wind and something over your head is good. I agree with Kooty.. Gotta stay below 1k with tax and other things included.

i can get pictures soon. the one we are building now for my buddy is not quite ready. dont have the stain or the windows and door in. if you guys want some like that i can get some tomorrow. and then next week we should have it all the way done and can post pics later. The price i was thinking would be 900 to 1000$.
