From his Care Pages….
Kaden has been doing great since ending treatment last night. He slept through the night (except for waking up to go pee) and he’s having a good afternoon. The first thing he said when he woke up is “When is Grandma Linda (and Papa and Ruby) going to be here?” I told him around 3 o’clock and he said he was going to watch the clock all day. And he has! “The little hand is on the 12….now it’s on the 1…” He is obviously very excited for them to arrive. I just realized that we haven’t seen them since Thanksgiving! This is the first time any of my family will see Kaden’s leg since the surgery. Although Kaden hasn’t had any sickness from the chemo, he hasn’t been very hungry. The only thing he ate so far today is a white frosted donut. All this time we’ve been getting Kwik Trip donuts not knowing that the hospital’s donuts are BETTER! 
We learn something new every day! Kaden was a little crabby for about 20 minutes but ever since he discovered the sword fighting game on the Wii he has been a little maniac! He’s kicking Logan’s butt (thanks to Logan letting him)! Kaden is screaming and yelling in victory…so cute! Lastly I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the “Sprint for a Cure” foundation, a local non-profit organization, which so graciously picked Kaden and our family as one of their award recipients. Thank you Juli for nominating us! We look forward to attending the “Sprint for a Cure” fundraiser this summer so that we can pay forward the help we have received. From what I’ve heard it is freezing out today so I’m not so sad that I’m cooped up in this hospital room! Rylee and Carley have the St. Francis Science Fair tonight…good luck to them!
