So now each state holds control. MN will do nothing I’m sure. It just probly means you wont spend as much time in jail if you shoot one. But good to see they’re finally recognizing the population. Thanks for posting!

Me thinks the populations have been kept somewhat in check by concerned citizens. I see less sign by my cabin in NW Wi but then again with the deer herd around there so low that might explain it. I like to think the clampets are looking out for us.

I didn’t see as much sign this year in Barnes. Also no deer either. Wonder if some local SSSU is occurring (shoot, shovel, shut up)

We all know a few people have gone outside the law to take matters into their own hands. Regardless if you disagree or support, I don’t think its the type of thing that should even be posted – unless your turning someone in. We have laws, and we need to follow them. Last I checked, that is what makes us a civilized society. I certainly don’t agree with the bunny-huggers getting another shot at suing the gov’t to change the law again…but it could happen.
Meanwhile, I have some #4 double long-springs that are modified and tweaked, just waiting for the lottery tag that will come

I agree with with Randy. Just because “all the cool kids are doing it” doesn’t make it legal. I’ve heard many stories of SSSU as well and turn away. I want nothing to do with it, until it’s legal of course.

I can’t wait to hunt these incredible animals. This will be a true challenge I believe. Especially if a guy decides to go after them with archery or more traditional equipment.

And we think hunting mature bucks is difficult , I would not even know how to begin hunting these creatures? I will be one of the first guys in line to buy a tag but would not know what to do with it ! Hopefully we can start a new thread in a few short years with some tips and tactics to harvest these cunning creatures!

If they do make it legal to hunt Wolf, what will everyone use for a excuse for low deer #’s I be currious to see how many are shot by all those who say they see them all the time in their deer woods I myself have never seen one while hunting but all the neighbors say they are all over the place. I guess they must be Ghost

Tounge in cheek fellas. I dont support poaching. Whenever I see wolves I think its cool. I dont wish I could shoot at them. If one killed my dog in my yard I would probably think differently though.

Pretty much my thoughts, although having a tag and opportunity might change my mind once…
