Cross bow use in WI.

    Hello Folks: first post. I am 68 and would like to use a cross bow during our early deer bow season. Can I? Thanks for your time. Drew s/w WI

    almost positive you can but i know it is in the deer hunting regs so check that out to be 100% safe

    I did some research for my dad in MN and the DNR said he would have to get a physical and send the results to the DNR. They emailed me a copy of the form and now my dad just has to go get it filled out. Good luck and welcome to IDO!

    In wi if you are 65 or older you do not need a special permit to use a crossbow

    Outdraft is right you are good to go with out a permit. They tried to drop the age down to 55 but it was voted down.
