concealed carry vs a permit

    Im looking into getting my first pistol. I’m wondering if it is worth the money to get a carry permit or just a permit to buy? What is the avantage of of having the conceal and carry?

    If your in Mn. You need to renew your permitt to Purchase yearly. If you get a Carry Permitt its good for five years. Which you can also use purchase weapons, plus you can conceal carry.

    Just a point of clarification–we don’t have a “conceal and carry” permit in MN, just a permit to carry. You can carry concealed or unconcealed.

    The advantage of the permit to purchase is that it’s free, but you have to renew each year. I’ve been thinking about just getting a permit to carry, but with a new baby, I don’t think I’ll be getting any new toys for a few years
