    I certainly hope not….

    Due to “lack of room”, NYC Police Officers, Port Authority Police Officers and FDNY Firefighters are not “invited” to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. Funny – they weren’t invited on that day in 2001, either – they just “showed up” and became our heroes.

    Might be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever read…

    I read an article on this that said it was for the families of the victims and yes, there was not room.

    If there is not room, I would agree, the families who never received even a speck of their loved one, in the attack, should be at the unveiling for sure. I watched a special on the memorial last weekend… pretty cool & sad. They had people there who are still waiting for some kind of closure.. they believe this memorial pool will give them that The firefighters and everyone else surely deserve to be there, but I am sure they understand too.

    Like every published news article, the meaning or intent can be viewed very differently pending what facts are made available.
