moon phase question

Are bears affected by moon phase? Looks like a full or near full moon in mid-September when I will be bear hunting.

Will they be more nocturnal during a bright moon or won’t it really make a difference?

Typically less active during the full moon. But more important is to pull the Solunar tables and look at the minor/major times. This will more accurately correspond with peak activity.
