Hi, don’t hunt to much anymore but do have a reason for being here. Someone dumped a beagle who showed up at my place. Seen it a couple of days trailing whatever through the yard and grove and then thought it must have found its way home. However I discovered it again down by the shed and called it over to check its colar, good enough for her, she decided she owns me now, which is sweet but I’m not really in the market for a dog. Shes young, probably two I’d guess, friendly but not overly so. Smart, cute, loves to hunt. Think she had a house job before but stays out with no problem. Anyone interested, I’m north of Mantorville, Mn. Would travel a ways to deliver. My email is [email protected].

When I was in college a very grimy and beat up yellow lab showed up on our doorstep and would not leave. We called her “orphan Annie”, very fitting. She was a wonderful dog, but was very ill. The vet was unkind and stiffed us with the bill, and on top of that, made us turn it into the humane society with the promise that we could adopt her. Went back the next day and they had “given” her away, our guess is that they put her to sleep.
Sometimes those dogs can be a blessing in disguise, hang on to the beagle if ya can!
