I’ve come across a great boat for duck hunting. It is a typical 16 foot flat with storage bunks and a great trailer. What would be the best way to power this baby up? What would be the most economical? And, who has a motor for sale that I can put on it?

I have an old 3 horse SEARS you can have. It’s old, but beats a pair of oars all to heck It ran last time I tried it, about 10 years ago.

the best way to tolerate probably won’t be the cheapest way. a mud motor or 1 of the rear propeller drive would probably be best but those are not cheap.

Thanks for the offer. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open in the meantime. But, as fall approaches, I might take you up on it!
