If there’s a guy willing to share his knowledge and secrets, Scott’s the man!

I was curious what techniques were used for that win, and I wasn’t too surprised. I’ve been a chub guy for a number of years following Scott’s advice. Thanks for more great details! I need to make one minor adjustment after seeing this…

I’m headed for the sleep center tonight to get tested for sleep apnea. I’m excited to see if this helps me regain some of my lost energy and drive. I’m sure getting older and having 3 young kids has taken the largest tole on me, but even if I can get 5-10% more drive than I have today it will be well worth it.

Have any of you guys been through this?

I did the sleep test this spring. Best move I ever made. I was always tired. I was waking up 45 times an hour. They put me on a Cpap that night and I have never slept better. Even helped me control my blood glucose levels. Sleep affects everything. Good luck you won’t regret it. My wife says its wonderful for her as the machine is whisper quiet and no snoring. Let us now how it turns out.

My dad did it a few years ago. He had a hard time sleeping with all the electrodes attached to him, so it was inconclusive in regards to sleep apnea, but he did find out that he has restless leg syndrome. He got some medication for that and mom said he’s been easier to sleep next to

My dad clearly has it too and went through the test. I should say he was pushed through the test from Mom. He hated being watched and it was also inconclusive.

I, on the other hand, am committed to this. They offered me a valium and I declined. I’m quite sure I’ll have no issues. I’m also excited about sleeping somewhere that isn’t 80 plus degrees like my house has been for the last 4-5 days.

Been on a cpap machine for about 6 years…Not only does it help with energy, it has cut down the daily headaches I use to have. Good luck!

The test went well I think. I was put on the “machine” at about 1AM. Pretty much fell right back to sleep. The nurse came in sometime after that to secure the mask better. I had a little harder time falling asleep this time, but it was due to I just couldn’t get comfortable in the bed. After I fell asleep the 2nd time, I didn’t wake until 7AM this morning.

Now I have to wait a week to get my report reviewed by a specialist then I go buy the new “machine”. All in all, I’d summarize this as a very positive experience. Gotta give props to Jessica my nurse at the Monticello Sleep Center. She was as chipper at 7AM as she was at 8PM last night.

Nice pic. Fun trying to sleep without strangling or pulling sensors off.

Glad you are doing this Kooty! If you end up getting a sleep apnea machine – you can hunt with me again this fall.
