Dog Food

I’d like to see a discussion on the best dog foods. I thought I’d save money and switch to a cheap brand, and my dog started to itch until he was bleeding. Switched him back to NutriSource (made in Perham, MN) and he got his oily coat back. Wondering if anyone has any other brands they trust. Anyone try Sprout from Fleet Farm? Another brand I have heard good things about is Canidae. Thanks.

Nutro for me. I buy it from the kennel and both dogs do great with it. I buy 3 40# bags for 100 bucks.

Look for protein % over 29 Stay away from corn or grain based foods, they are just really expensive bag weight padders and pooper scooper fillers… they do absolutely nothing for your pet
