I have a brother in-law that just recently moved to Dallas. I have always wanted to try wild hog hunting. Anybody have any experience with this? Any tips or opinions.
Also any other good hunting options in the area?? I’m pretty open to any hunting and time of year doesn’t really matter.

I don’t know much about the Dallas area but we have went down by the Austin area ( would have to dig up the name) Had just a blast shooting them with our bows 
Hog hunting is unforgettable! They are tougher than deer and almost as good as turkey hunting 
It was $45 for tags when i went down there 4 years ago which got me 3 pigs 
If i were you, i would go down during january or february because of the temperature 
I would Google search hog hunting near dallas and see what’s the closest location
They have a such a problem with wild hogs down there, it’s not to expensive actually. Good luck and take some pics!
