Last Friday night we were leaving the race track and as we were pulling out, I noticed something along the tree line. And everyone in the car all said what I thought I seen, a moutain lion…. we watched it for close to 10 minutes and my dad pulled up behined us and I ran back and pointed it out to him and he instantly said it was a cougar. I wish I had pictures but I don’t. We called the dnr and he was very interested in our sitting. It was a pretty exciting night for us who have not seen such a critter in our area.

Very cool I’m sure that the DNR will tell you that there are no cougars down there

That might make the hair on the back of your neck stand up for a bit.

That would have been pretty cool to see.

The DNR will probably say it was a large HOSE cat.

Maybe they can knock the wolf population down. Glad you were in the car and not walking to your stand!

There seem to be more sightings everywhere even if the DNR denies many of the sightings.
