I usually have some left over Bear bait and keep it stored in 55 gal steel drums with bolt on steel covers so that the bears can’t get in When I pulled into the cabin yesterday they had rolled the barrel up to the cabin and ripped the cover off I had to set a camera up to see who the culprit was this barrel is less than 5′ from my bedroom window. as you can see he made himself completely at home This bear is in great shape for a spring bear

Wowser, that’s a dandy bear. At least you’ll have a good pattern on him by fall.

A few more pics from last night. He has been here every night. On Friday night I met with a member and when I got back to the cabin at about 10:00 He was growling and popping his teeth he wouldn’t back off so I just let him be we always have bears around the cabin but this one must be damn hungry! as he shows no fear what so ever.

Yeah Bob, I’d maybe move the barrell a little further away from the cabin!

Remind me not to come over for a barbecue on your deck.
