    Kraig,
I’d say you can not go wrong with an evening at Liberty’s restaurant in downtown.

If you like martini’s check out Oar Derve’s. They have great food too. I usually end up not having an entre’ because im stuffed from appatizers and dirty martini’s.

Fiesta Mexican is my hands down favorite Red Wing resteraunt. Good food, good portions great prices.

Liberty’s is fantastic for pizza and a great buffet, as it Marie’s in the old armory…I believe it is the old armory anyway…

If you want good fishing info and some good food to go along with your beers, The Bluff’s Bar and Grill in Hager City can’t be beat.

    Ask for Shooter.

PS it’s on your way to Everts.

PSS…Where are you staying at? I’ll be at Everts through out the weekend and would like to meet the famous, long time IDO supporter KFK

    Thanks Brian.

    It’s my womans birthday.

Going to surprise her by doing an overnighter at a B&B in town.

I’m fighting the urge to bring the boat.

Being it’s her birthday, I can at least make an attempt to show her that the world doesn’t always revolve around me.

    Don’t need a boat….

Ever thought of taking her on a moonless night on the River for her birthday?

    I know, I’m so romantic.

Looking through the ads last night, I saw that one of the local retailers has a Bushnell sport 450 rangefinder on sale at a pretty good price. Just wanted the opinion of some of the members to see if this unit is worth anything. I recently bought my first bow and am getting into bow hunting and I know that a rangefinder isn’t a necessity, but at this price it is pretty hard to pass up.

Please let me know if this is a good product and give your feedback!

    Thanks everyone!

I never use to use one then last year I bought one, and to be honest I’m glad I did even at full price worth every penny to me.

By the way love your signature.

    It’s not a signature, it’s a curse….

I got one last Christmas a Nikon Archer’s Choics and so far I like it. The reason I decided to get one is because I
missed judge the distance on a big buck and I watched the
arrow sail beneath his body. So now hopefully next fall if
that happens again I’ll know my yardage and put the right pin on the target.

I bought the 450 for my daughter with her first bow. She uses it for everything (gun deer, bow turkey, and bow deer…) and it’s right on. Compared to my nikon rifle 1000, its pretty good. The target reflection after about 225 yards is questionable and we have a difficult time getting consistant readings at the longer distances (300 + yards)
