Are there any farmers around Hastings MN that sell “compressed” hay bales? Does anyone know anyone that sells them? Thanks for the help!!

Are you talking alfalfa pellets, or an actual hay bale?
The pellets would vary in size from 1/2″ to 2″ and the bales could range between 40-800 LBS They do carry the pellets at fleet farm and maybe some of the elevators in the area.

Nope looking for bales. Looking for a bale around 100-150 pounds.

Sorry, can’t help you on that, Most bales that I have dealt with are about 50# for the small squares and about 600 to 800# on the big squares

Not sure you’ll find one at least for a decent price, you should be able to score 3 idiot bales(small squares) for no more than 15$

We used to make out own with a couple regular bales and a banding strapper.
