Dave just sent me some pics of the new 1/8 and 1/4 ounce draggin jigs. Finally! Those heavier sizes will be awesome on the wingies. Now all we need is the 3/8 size and we’ll have it licked!

Biff Henderson from the Late Show with David Letterman was in town with a crew on Tues. and Wed this week filming in our small town. I spent most of Tues. and part of Wed. with them playing tour guide/security/interviewed. They ended up with some really funny footage. Sounds like it will be a 3 minute segment airing some time in May. They are supposed to notify us when a date is more solid. The crew was super nice, and appreciative for our help. Gonna get my 15 seconds of fame for a second time, but I didn’t have to risk my life this time……
Will post when I hear a definate when this will be showing.

April 28, 2011 at 1:59 pm #105593Very cool. Can you hint what the content/subject matter revolves around?
April 28, 2011 at 3:17 pm #105607Cool. Why were they there?? or what is the name of the town? I’m sure we could google it and figure out what’s so unique about your place…
April 28, 2011 at 5:39 pm #105625Nothing really unusual about our small town of Greenwood. They learned of our town because of a connection through one of the staffers on the show. Biff goes to small towns and does comedy skits. You can search youtube for Biff Henderson to see an example. Definately an interesting experience.
Search:Biff Henderson Mayetta Kansas for an example.

So what did you do the first time?
April 28, 2011 at 7:29 pm #105637I ended up on TRU TV on “Top 25 Most Daring Rescues”. Pulled an elderly man out of a burning house a couple years ago, and got it on squad video. Flames shot out the garage door I pulled him out of moments after we were out. They came and interviewed me and I was #7 or #8 on the list. Wife was not happy with me for running into a burning building. Gotta do what ya gotta do…….

My god! Sounds like you’re a good guy to have around.
April 29, 2011 at 1:04 pm #105663One of those times when you don’t have time to think of consequences. Just gotta do the right thing. Other officers I know would do the same. I was the one faced with it, and happened to get the whole thing on my squad video camera. I know a female officer who pulled a guy from a burning car a year later and saved his life. Not on camera, not getting on T.V., but none the less still a selfless act.
Anyway…..Can’t wait to see the stuff Biff splices together…..gonna be super funny. The guy is a real card!
