you’ll have to look real hard, but in the center of the picture you can see a thimble-sized grey mushroom.
first one of the season, found yesterday.
the woods look a week or so behind this year, foliage-wise, and with the cooler weather, might not catch up for a while.
heck, this time last year i was havin shrooms with my grilled turkey breast. 
Very nice! I’m not done shed hunting, so keep those morels away for a few more weeks! 
We are just starting to see buds on the trees forming here! Might be a little while yet! 
Larry, why is it you guys in Ill. find them a week or two before we do in Ia?

I was really having a hard time see that sroom i was burning through the leaves looking for a shed 
everything is better on our side of the river, herb. 
you should check out the turkey hunting forum once in a while. 
I can’t wait to find a bunch of them to fry up.
